Performance

The hylo RUN's ultra-responsive, cushioned Pebax and sugarcane midsole provides maximum energy return and minimal impact. Our midsole is designed with a 9.5mm heel-to-toe drop and 20mm stack height, which makes for a cushioned, comfortable and responsive ride.

We recommend hand-washing the hylo RUN. Using a soapy water solution, brush the upper’s surface until dirt and stains are removed.

We replace the industry-standard polyester with PLA in a knitted upper construction to ensure a breathable and lightweight feel.

Natural Rubber[14.05%]

Renewable & bio-based. We remove synthetic rubber and use this naturally-produced alternative, predominantly derived from the native Brazilian plant Hevea brasiliensis. Increases tear resistance.

Bio-based EVA[12.81%]

Bio-based EVA

Bio-based ethylene vinyl acetate is light, flexible and durable. Made from sugarcane, that material is mixed with Pebax® and nitro-infused into our midsole for a cushioned responsive ride. It is 100% recyclable.

Outsole Binder[9.36%]

Used in the outsole to create consistency of performance.

POE & Fillers[8.20%]

POE & Fillers

POE is an elastomer added to all midsole compounds. Its main purpose is to control the hardness, rebound and other physical properties of the foam.

Our usage of recycled polyester is something we want to reduce. However, its performance credentials are required for strength and durability while reducing our reliance on virgin polyester.
